Growing up with a Lionel Model train around the Christmas tree is a childhood memory that many can relate to.  This is much our story as well.  Growing up in the “Big City” with a Christmas train and models always in the works was an amazing childhood. With the ever changing world of social media, video games and the general “lack of time” many of these memories are seen as part of the past or something we just see in made for TV Hallmark films.

Now with children of my own we have moved away from the big city and have settled in the quiet and beautiful town of Prescott Arizona know as ‘Everybody’s Home Town’.  After a few months living here one of the first things we noticed was that youth in town were missing something that we grew up with and have fond memories of.  There was no local Hobby Shop.  Speaking with the local railroad club they stated it perfectly.  “Everyone buys online now”.  We decided to get involved.  In October of 2016 we started an Ebay Store Prescott Hobbies with one goal in mind to generate enough sales to open a Brick and Mortar Store in our local community.  We have now developed enough support to open this site.
